Rabari Tassel Classic Jacket
This upcycled denim jacket is inspired by the indigenous applique art of the Rabari community in Gujarat and camel decorations from the Thar region of India. The yoke showcases hand-appliqued Rabari designs and embroidery. The bodice is adorned with small tassels made from handmade braids with ghunghroo and various trims like pom-poms, fabric mirrors, and shell hanging. Rabari embroidery decorates the sleeve hems and jacket hem. The yoke is lined with contrasting fabric.

This meticulously crafted jacket took over 35 hours to complete.
