Rabari Tassel Signature Jacket
This upcycled denim jacket is inspired by the indigenous applique art of the Rabari community in Gujarat and camel decorations from the Thar region of India. The yoke showcases hand-appliqued Rabari designs and embroidery. The bodice is adorned with long tassels made from handmade braids with ghunghroo and various trims like pom-poms, fabric mirrors, shell hanging and crochet mirrors. Rabari embroidery decorates the sleeve hems, jacket hem, and collar. The yoke is lined with contrasting fabric.

This meticulously crafted jacket took over 45 hours to complete.
